Ladbrokes' long service award

Last week I visited Ladbrokes in Ashby to congratulate Pauline Hall, whose long-service was recognised by Ladbrokes at an annual awards ceremony in Windsor last month.

Nearly 200 employees from across the UK celebrated twenty, thirty of forty years of service with Ladbrokes, mainly in their shops, something that is increasingly unlikely in the current employment climate.  Celebrations were also in order for Maria and the whole local team who won Market Place team of the year.

Pauline said she never intended to stay with the company for so long but it’s a great place to work and her colleagues are great.

It was good to see the devotion of Pauline and Maria to Ladbrokes and the pride they have in their local shop teams and it was clear that both Pauline and Maria go the extra mile on a daily basis for both the company and their customers.
