Proposed Waste Transfer Station at Bottesford.

Waste_Transfer_Station.png

I have received an initial petition containing around 300 signatures predominantly from residents living in the Canada Farm and Low Leys area of Bottesford regarding their opposition to proposals to build a Waste Transfer Station on the adjacent South Park Industrial Estate.

It seems a nonsense to build such a facility so close to residential homes and for my part I have written to North Lincolnshire Council’s Planning Department supporting local residents.

I have also presented the petition against this development in Parliament so that there is maximum public exposure of the proposal.

Although the original consultation closed on 3rd November 2016, at the time of writing North Lincolnshire Council are still accepting representations on this and comments can be submitted on their website under Planning Application WD/2016/1556.
